How to Participate

    Choose Your Tools

    If you prefer Python, consider using the resources available on the Mon.school website to help you get started. Alternatively, you can use any other programming language of your choice.

    Design Your Concept

    Think about the traditional circular pattern and vibrant colors that characterize a pookalam. Sketch out your ideas before diving into code.

  3. 3

    Code Your Design

    Focus on both the aesthetics and the technical implementation of your pookalam. Ensure that your code is clean and well-organized.

  4. 4

    Submit Your Work

    For Python users, submit your mon.school sketch. If you are using another programming language, please provide a GitHub link to your code along with a photo of your finished pookalam.

Judging Criteria

  • Creativity in design
  • Technical implementation
  • Adherence to traditional pookalam elements
  • Originality of work
  • Code readability and efficiency

Your time to code will start from 1st September 12:00 PM till 7th September 11:59 PM
